We Are Seeking

A highly motivated, detail-oriented, hands-on biologist to contribute to existing programs and to initiate and develop new drug discovery efforts within Quanta. The ideal candidate will have a broad and deep understanding of cancer biology, signal transduction pathways, and hands-on experience in elucidating molecular mechanisms underlying tumorigenesis independently. He/she will work with a collaborative team and contribute to the Company’s pipeline.


Your Role:

  • Maintain multiple cell lines simultaneously
  • Work on basic molecular techniques for assay development
  • Carry out 2D and 3D cellular assays to support compound structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies
  • Develop and validate cell-based assays to characterize small molecule inhibitors in MoA studies
  • Work in close collaboration with biologists and chemists to progress drug candidate programs
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data transparently and efficiently
  • Communicate data to team clearly and concisely


Your Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in cancer biology/molecular/cell biology or related biomedical field with 1-3 years of oncology experience in an academic or pharma/biotech setting. Experience in oncology is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in basic tissue culture and cell biology techniques are essential (aseptic techniques, cell line maintenance, viability assays, transfection, stable cell line generation, Western blot analysis)
  • Experience in basic molecular biology techniques as plasmid preparation and purification, PCR, cloning, and bacteria transformation
  • Strong background in cell signaling and cellular assay development
  • Ability to think critically and generate creative solutions to challenging scientific questions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Team player and ability to work in a dynamic environment
